Our Mission
Improving Fleet Coverage and Efficiency
At Telebotics, our mission is to help organizations operate low-speed fleet vehicles more efficiently across campuses, depots, and private property.
Many fleet operations today are limited by staffing constraints, fixed schedules, and underutilized vehicles. We help teams extend coverage, improve safety, and increase utilization—without replacing existing fleets or disrupting workforce structures.
How the System Works
Telebotics provides a retrofit system that enables remote operation and onboard safety automation for low-speed fleet vehicles.
Our Model X1 supports safe, remote vehicle movement for patrol, repositioning, parking, charging, and routine fleet operations—allowing organizations to do more with the vehicles they already own.
As vehicles operate in real-world conditions, Telebotics progressively increases automation on known routes. This staged approach allows organizations to benefit immediately from remote operation while gradually improving efficiency and reducing manual workload over time.
Core Capabilities
Remote Operation
secure remote supervision and vehicle control in controlled environments
Advanced Positioning
combines GPS, IMU, and vision to support reliable navigation
Safety Systems
automatic braking, obstacle detection, and safe-stop behavior
Technology Approach
Modular Integration
Designed to retrofit onto existing vehicles with minimal changes, supporting faster deployment and lower upfront cost.
Progressive Autonomy
Automation increases over time through software updates, reducing manual intervention while keeping human supervision in place.
Safety at the Core
Built-in safety systems and redundant communication ensure predictable, reliable performance in real operations.
Partnership-Driven
Developed in collaboration with Canadian OEMs, universities, and public-sector partners to ensure deployability and compliance.
Our Story
Founded in Toronto, Telebotics brings together commercialization strategy and hands-on autonomy engineering to solve real fleet challenges.
What began as a university-industry collaboration evolved into a focused mission: making fleet automation safe, affordable, and practical for controlled environments.
Through partnerships with research partners such as York University, SmartTO, and Ontario’s innovation ecosystem, we have developed and validated a deployable foundation system that supports today’s fleet operations while enabling future automation.
